2025 Results
The 2025 competition was held in Montréal, Quebec! The team theme was the “Greek Boggs” (Greek Gods) and the team placed 4th out of 18 teams, specifically doing well in the following categories:
- 1st place – “Best Opening Ceremony Performance”
- 2nd place – “Best Technical Display”
- 3rd Place – “Best Performing Toboggan”
- 4th place overall

2024 Results
The 2024 competition was held in St. John’s, NL. The team theme was the Barbie movie and the team placed 8th out of 16 teams, specifically doing well in the following categories:
- 2nd Place – “Best Tech Ex Display”
- 2nd Place – “Most Aesthetically Pleasing Toboggan”
- 3rd Place – “Most Sustainable Toboggan”
- 3rd Place – “Best Costumes”
- 1st Place – “Best Opening Ceremonies Performance”

2023 Results
The 2023 competition was held in Kelowna, BC. The team theme was the Pixar movie, How to Train Your Dragon (How to Train Your Boggan). It was the first competition to be held in person since 2020. The team placed 6th out of 15 teams and specifically did well in the following categories:
3rd Place – Concrete Mix Design
3rd Place – Geometric Profile Design
3rd Place – King of The Hill Race Day Performance

2021 Results
The 2021 GNCTR was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic from February 4-February 6, 2021. Our team theme was Spongebob (or Spongebog).
With the competition being reduced to virtual events and deliverables, the team’s concepts and report writing skills were tested. The team worked extremely hard and were well rewarded, placing 4th overall! Notably, some achievements included winning the following awards:
1st Place – Most Innovative
2nd Place – Excellence in Safety
3rd Place – Concrete Mix Design
3rd Place – Geometric Profile
3rd Place – Geometric Profile
3rd Place – Best Technical Report
3rd Place – Best Technical Presentation

2020 Results
The 2020 GNCTR competition was held in Toronto Ontario from January 29-February 1, 2020.
Our team theme was Snow White (or Snow White and the Sleddin’ Dwarves), and with our main goal of improving on the previous year’s results, we ended up placing 12th overall out of 21 competing teams!
2019 Results
The 2019 GNCTR competition was held in Edmonton, Alberta from January 30 – February 3, 2019. Feel free to check out their website here.
Our team theme was Fire Fighters (or Blazin’ Boggers), and we placed 18th overall out of 21 competing teams. Although we placed high in certain sections, such as 4th place in Concrete Reinforcement, and 4th place in Overall Spirit, we unfortunately crashed on our first run, and were unable to race again. Thankfully no one was hurt due to our extremely safe, well-designed roll cage!
